October 29 this year in the Tashkent State Agrarian University opened the department "Agricultural Economics" Institute of Agricultural Development Germany Leibniz. (IAMO)
The Leibniz Institute (IAMO) occupies 561 places in the QS system of the world rating.
The Institute (IAMO) has 4 departments and more than 200 professors-professors work in these departments and 2000 masters and doctoral students study.
(IAMO) - conducts basic and practical research in regional agriculture. Including agrarian policy, food safety, development of entrepreneurship in rural areas, management of farms and protection of the surrounding world.
(IAMO) - consists of scientific and academic cooperation with research institutes and universities of Central Asia and the Russian Federation.
Since 2015, the Leibniz Institute has been cooperating with the Toshkent Agrarian University. And in 2018 between the rector of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, academician Sulaimanov Botir Abdushukurovich and the director, Thomas Glauben, a meeting was organized and a memorandum on the expansion of scientific and academic cooperation was signed. Based on this memorandum, a branch of the IAMO department in the Tashkent State Agrarian University is opened.
2 undergraduates and 3 doctoral students of Tashkent State Agrarian University from the department and the fund "Volktsvegen" allocated a scholarship intended for 4 years.
At the same time, in the department of the branch 3 pre-professors and professors will be regularly pre-appointed and 3 doctoral students of the Tashkent State Agrarian University will be the supervisors.
