Genetics, Plant Breeding and Seed Production of Agricultural Crops

Citation history of the department (max. 150 words): The Department of Genetics, Selection and Seeding of Agricultural Crops is concerned with the training of a specialist in the field of selection and seeding of agricultural crops. Selection and sowing are taught at Masters and Doctoral level.

Main directions of the department:
Study of fundamental and practical problems of genetics, selection and sowing of agricultural crops;
Study of fundamental and practical problems of quality and quantity marking genetics in cotton and other agricultural crops;
character in agricultural crops, learning the laws of inheritance of properties, research on the basis of traditional and modern methods;
the development of research in the field of genetics, cytogenetics, molecular genetics and traditional genetics, the creation and introduction of new hybrids and varieties;
To conduct and develop in-depth scientific research on the selection and seed production of agricultural crops in the department;
To train educated and talented young people in the field of genetics, selection and seed production.
