       In accordance with the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan UP-2909 "On measures for the further development of the higher education system" dated April 20, 2017, UP-3704 "On measures to further improve the training of highly qualified personnel in Tashkent State Agrarian University" dated May 8, 2018, by order of the Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education No. 426 dated May 14, 2018, by the decision of the Scientific Council of the University (Minutes No. 10 dated May 11, 2018) and by the order of the rector of TashSAU No. 1-9-6 / 334 dated May 22, 2018 and “Fruit growing and viticulture” at the Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture.

      On the formation of the Department of Fruit Growing and Viticulture in the Tashkent State Agrarian University at the Faculty of Horticulture and Viticulture. The formation of the new department is aimed at the preparation and training of undergraduate students of the faculty in the specialty “Fruit growing and viticulture”. Currently, students in the department are trained using modern communication and educational technologies. The teaching staff of the department on the disciplines of fruit growing and viticulture conduct classes in the following areas of specialties: plant protection, professional training, management in agriculture, agronomy, agrochemistry and soil science, sericulture, storage and processing of agricultural products. The Department of Horticulture was organized in 1942, which during this period was headed by Professor L.M. Since 1951, the department was headed by Professor A.A.Rybakov. From 1993 to 1996, he was headed by Professor A.G. Abdullayev, from 1996 to 2004, the head of the department was associate professor O. Kadirkhodzhayev, from June 2004 to 2011 the department was headed by associate professor B. Gulyamov and from June 2011 to July 2013 Dr. x Sciences MM Adilov, from January 2013 to April 2014, the department was headed by Associate Professor Sh. Asatov, from May 2014 to July 2015, Associate Professor Zh.N. Fayziev, from July to December 2015, Associate Professor S. Yunusov. Currently, the department is headed by Associate Professor I.T. Normuratov. Currently, the department prepares for agricultural production of the republic highly qualified personnel. Training programs in relevant disciplines and training specialties are compiled and updated using foreign pedagogical experience of such foreign countries as (Russia, Japan, Korea, China, India and others). The teaching staff of the department of fruit growing and viticulture improves the professional pedagogical level through internships in foreign countries, participation of international seminars and conferences. Such highly qualified scientists as Professor Sultonov Kamolitdin Sadriddinovich, associate professors, Fayziev Jamol Nosirovich, Fakhrutdinov Nuritdin Zaynidinovich, Enileev Najdat Shavkatovich, Sharipov Sulton Yangioevich, Abdikayumov Zainilabiddin Abdivokhidovich, senior teacher Zhanakova Durdona Ulugbekovna.
