   The Department of foreign languages became the Department of foreign languages in 2005.Jalolov was in charge and the department was affiliated to the Faculty of Economics. In 2006, the Department of Uzbek and Russian was merged into the Department of Uzbek and foreign languages. The head of the department is Associate Professor E.Efimenko managed. From 2007 to April 2018, the department was headed by U.T.Abdullayeva came in charge. In 2012, the department was split in two, and the Department of English was separated from the Department of English.T.Abdullayeva left 37.75 state units under the leadership of the Department. In accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 311 of November 3, 2015 “on measures to further improve the provision of highly qualified personnel of the agricultural and water sectors with higher education”and Order No. 238 of the Ministry of Agriculture and water affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 05.11.2015, the Faculty “Forestry and medicinal plants” was established The Department of "foreign languages" was established, and in its structure teachers worked in 42.25 state units. Within the Department of ”foreign languages " there were 1 Head of department, 3 senior teachers and 38.25 teachers. English, German, applied English were transferred to the Department. Since March 2018, as a result of the addition of Uzbek and Russian languages to the Department of” Foreign Languages“, The Department of” languages " was established and a senior teacher was S.Salikhova led. Since August 20, 2018, the Department of “languages " has been organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan.X.Mukhitdinova is in charge.

DESCRIPTION AND COMPOSITION OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of languages is part of the Faculty of fruit and vegetable and viticulture and is the Department of non-education. At the Department of languages, classes are held in all undergraduate areas and graduate specialties at the University.

PRIORITY SCIENTIFIC AREAS AND RESEARCH TOPICS OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of languages conducts research on the topic “methods of using innovative ped technologies and interfaith effective teaching methods in teaching foreign languages”. Within the framework of the topic, professors and scientific researchers of the Department publish scientific articles, educational and methodological manuals, teaching aids and dictionaries.
1. To publish textbooks and educational methodological manuals, as well as dictionaries;
2. Issue of articles and theses on a Republican scale and abroad;
3. Helping to translate the literature of all university-wide departments;
4. Participation in the media with scientific articles;

Scientific and methodological work published for the last 5 years

The department has published the results of more than 300 scientific works over the past 5 years, Published 11 textbooks, 15 methodological manuals, 1 patent, 19 articles in international scientific journals, 200 articles in Republican journals, 300 theses and 14 recommendations in international conferences, Republican conferences.

WORK WITH TALENTED STUDENTS, THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN SCIENTIFIC AND STRUCTURAL WORK

The department has established a system of working with talented students and is currently engaged in scientific research with 15 talented students in the Solo Ray circle. Senior teacher of the Department M.Nurmatova is in charge of working with talented students, and talented students engaged under the guidance of her and leading professors successfully participate in Science Olympiads, competitions and competitions.
