About department of scientific research and innovation

     Preparation of scientific and scientific-pedagogical cadres is the next educational stage of this higher education, which is aimed at further improving the system of training and certification of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of the highest qualification. "On measures to further improve the system of certification of postgraduate education and highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel",” the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 4456 and the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 28, 2012 № 365.

The most important task of the department of scientific and scientific-pedagogical cadres is to provide the necessary conditions for doctoral students to deepen the theoretical knowledge in the chosen specialty and to properly prepare their doctoral work.


The main tasks of the Department of scientific research and innovation are as follows:


Implementation of decrees of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on scientific and pedagogical personnel training, decisions and decrees of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and directive bodies;

Organization of admission of senior researchers and independent researchers on a competitive basis, as well as sending senior researchers and independent researchers to the central scientific institutions and higher education institutions;

Organization of work plans of senior researchers and independent researchers and timely approval of scientific themes of dissertation works.This department is headed by the head of Department of scientific research and innovation. The head of the department of scientific research and innovation is subordinated to the rector on scientific work and innovations TSAU and is appointed and released by order of the rector of TSAU. 

The head and employees of the Department of scientific research and innovation are guided by the following documents:

  • Current legislation (in case of personal affairs and formalities);
  • Decisions and orders of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Basic rules for admission to postgraduate and doctoral studies;
  • TSAU charter.
