The branch center for retraining and upgrading of pedagogical personnel under the Tashkent State Agrarian University was established by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 26,2012 № 278.
For the organization of the educational process of retraining and advanced training, 8 classrooms are involved, equipped with modem technical training aids and computer equipment. All nonresident students of refresher and advanced training courses are provided with accommodation (80 places).
An expert consultant from South Korea was brought in as a foreign deputy director of the Center for Retraining and Advanced Training.
20 specialized departments of the university have been defined, where open lectures and practical classes will be organized for course participants. 18 modem enterprises, as well as about 9 research institutes are attached to improve the effectiveness of practical exercises.
Systematic work is conducted to study advanced international experience, special attention paid to attracting foreign specialists for teaching in retraining and upgrading courses. Over the past 3 years, 42 foreign experts from Australia, Holland, Russia, USA, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, China, Pakistan, Italy, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, and other countries have conducted courses.
