Samarkhand branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University

The government adopted a resolution "On the organization of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University."

According to him:

Starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University was established.

The main tasks of the branch are:

- Training of personnel with modern knowledge and skills in the application of innovative resource-saving advanced technologies in agriculture, the introduction of "Smart Agriculture" and digital agrotechnology;

- Modernization of the educational and laboratory base, the reflection of knowledge in the science programs on innovative and modern production processes in the field, high-efficiency and resource-saving advanced technologies;

- Introduction of information systems in the organization and control of the educational and management process, the creation of favorable conditions for independent learning of students through the introduction of distance learning;

- Standardization of the teaching load of professors and teachers on the introduction of the credit-module system in the educational process, as well as teaching-methodical, research work by teachers, the "teacher-student" system encouraging the completion of work, and so on.

The branch also implemented joint educational programs (double degree) in agriculture with the Grodno State Agrarian University of the Republic of Belarus.
