"Academic and Youth Meeting" was held on the topic "Education and Science in the USA, the Example of Harvard and New York Universities"

A “Meeting of Academicians and Youth” was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University with the participation of Academician Bakriddin Zaripov, who has worked at the university for many years, on the topic “Education and Science in the USA, the Example of Harvard and New York Universities”. Students of the “Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture” faculty participated in the meeting. The rector of the university, N. Oblomuradov, opened the meeting with an introductory speech and, addressing the academician, expressed his warm thoughts, saying, “This institution is not alien to you, we are glad to meet you today in such a circle, and of course, the doors of our university are always open to you.” After that, Academician B. Zaripov began his lecture. During the lecture, he talked about his life path, and in order to increase students’ interest in studying abroad, he provided information about the conditions at Harvard and New York universities, teaching systems, classes created for students, and many other areas. passed. The academician, while delivering his speech, expressed his thoughts as follows: "This place is not a foreign place for me. This is a great institution, I can proudly say that a governor, senator, minister or leader is sitting among you now." At the same time, several wise words were quoted. It was said that one should strive for everything without stopping, that today cannot be returned, and therefore one should use the opportunities provided. After the lecture, the students received sufficient answers to their questions from Academician B. Zaripov. At the end of the meeting, our rector presented a special gift with the symbol of the university.
