On March 8, in honor of International Women’s Day, our university hosted a festive concert titled “The Flower of Our Life, the Sun — Woman.” The concert program was opened by the university’s rector, N. Oblomuradov, who, in his opening speech, wished all women familial happiness, peace and tranquility, and the joy of witnessing the achievements of their children and grandchildren. In honor of the holiday, several of our professors, tutors, educators, and dedicated women contributing to the cleanliness of the university were duly recognized. During the event, People’s Poet of Uzbekistan, writer, and playwright Usmon Azim congratulated the attendees on the upcoming holiday. Then the artistic part began. The “Agrarian Stars” song and dance ensemble invited everyone to the center of the circle for dances with their songs and dances. One of the most exciting moments was when our young men performed live songs for the women, concluding the program. Teachers and staff, tired after lessons and work, forgot their fatigue during the program. This wonderful and uplifting process was equally appreciated by all.
