Senators met with students.
The members of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Water Management and Ecology issues of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with students at the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
It is well known that our country is at the new stage of the radical reforms, the Supreme Legislative organ has been entrusted with a very important responsibility. Particularly, the functions of this organization are to improve the system of state and public construction, to ensure the rule of law, to strengthen the legal framework for the development and liberalization of the national economy and to ensure strict control over the implementation of laws.
Committee of the Oliy Majlis Senate are actively working to achieve specific goals in this direction. In particular, the Committee on agriculture, water management and ecology is working to implement systematic parliamentary oversight of the implementation of relevant legislation and government programs. The committee also focuses on analyzing the existing legal framework in the field of agriculture, water management and ecology, and developing the existing legal and regulatory framework.
The event focused on the activities of the upper house of parliament, its structures, involvement of young people in the agrarian sector and the development of entrepreneurship among them. The committee was informed in detail about the activities of the Committee, the live communication with young people was studied and the issues of interest were discussed. Issues such as employment, continuing education, improving the quality of education, access to preferential banking services were discussed in detail.
“Youth issues are one of the most important topics in the state”, said Dilshod Ismailov, student of Tashkent State Agrarian University. - During the event, we got acquainted with the work being done in our country to support, encourage, empower and develop young people. We also learned new agrarian plans, achievements and participation of young people in environmental protection.
