Tashkent state agrarian university in cooperation with the German Institute IAMO held an International online forum
Tashkent state agrarian university and the Eurasian Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Development (IAMO) of the Federal Republic of Germany jointly held an international forum on “Digital transformation – towards sustainable food value chains in Eurasia”.
Currently, our university is conducting a series of practical work to further improve its position in the international QS ranking. Notably, on June 24-26 this year, the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Development (IAMO) in cooperation with the Tashkent state agrarian university and the World Bank, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences held an International Online Forum on “Digital transformation - towards sustainable food value chains in Eurasia”.
Representatives of the research institutes IFPRI (USA), IMC (Ukraine), ATR Landhandel (Germany), EcoNiva (Russia) and professors, scientists and PhD students from prestigious universities of the world presented their scientific and creative work at this organized online conference.
Also, three independent researchers of Tashkent state agrarian university Mashhura Babadjanova on “The impact of Climate Change on wheat productivity at the district level in Uzbekistan”, Mahliyo Djuraeva on “Agricultural Extension and Technical Efficiency: an Empirical Assessment in Central Asia” and Abdulla Primov on “Identifying the Determinants and Extent of Crop Diversification at Farm Level: A case study of Uzbekistan” presented initial results of their scientific work at the international online conference.
