Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University B.Sulaymonov became an honored professor in the Republic of Korea
The rector of the Tashkent State Agrarian University B.Sulaymonov visited Konkuk University, held a series of meetings with the aim of further strengthening cooperation with higher educational institutions of the Republic of Korea, for acquaintance and introduction with their experience in Tashkent State Agrarian University and its branches.
Tashkent State Agrarian University has been cooperating with Konkuk University since 2015. Within the framework of cooperation, 5 students of the Tashkent State Agrarian University and from its branches were trained in the field of “Animal husbandry” under the international master's program at Konkuk University. Over the past three years, 4 teachers of the Tashkent State Agrarian University have improved their skills in agricultural processing, animal husbandry and zoo technology.
The delegation met with University President Min Sangi and signed a “Roadmap” to expand bilateral scientific and academic activities. In addition, a system of employment of university graduates will be developed. Also within the framework of the KOICA program, the Tashkent State Agrarian University has agreed to establish a modern laboratory for the processing and quality of agricultural products.
At the meeting with members of the Academic Council of the Konkuk University, the rector B. Sulaymonov was awarded the title of honorary professor of Konkuk University for the fruitful cooperation of two universities in the field of training agricultural workers.
The delegation also visited Chungnam National University, which established scientific and academic cooperation with more than 20 Central Asian and Russian universities and research institutes. Tashkent State Agrarian University and its branches has been cooperating since 2017.
During the visit, a number of agreements were reached. Within the framework of the program of international organizations, such as KOICA and KOPIA, joint educational programs on “Crop production”, “Plant biotechnology” will be implemented at the Tashkent State Agrarian University and a modern laboratory will be created on the basis of this project "Determination of soil salinity and their fertility."
