On the occasion of the 34th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a new four-story academic building with a capacity of 1,350 seats was officially inaugurated at our university. This facility will serve as a source of knowledge not only for students but also for the entire agricultural sector. The new building houses 8 modern laboratories, 8 large lecture halls, 38 seminar rooms, dedicated offices for faculty members, faculty dean’s offices, and auxiliary departments. From now on, the faculties of “Forestry and Landscape Design” and “Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products” will operate in this building. Speaking at the event, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibrohim Abdurahmonov, emphasized the importance of modern conditions in training the younger generation as qualified specialists, stating: “Today, in the development of agriculture, young specialists are the most crucial link. The construction of such modern academic facilities for acquiring in-depth knowledge is a vivid expression of our state’s attention.” The Minister also highlighted TSAU’s achievements in international cooperation, noting in particular the expanding ties with China and the ongoing fruitful exchange of experience.
At the end of the event, guests toured the new building, becoming acquainted with its conveniences, modern equipment, and comfortable classrooms, and gave high praise to the conditions created for students. This significant event contributes to further strengthening TSAU’s material and technical base, raising the educational process to a new level, and providing students with the opportunity to study in line with international standards. From now on, this building will become a true center of knowledge at TSAU, preparing modern, proactive, and highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector.
