As part of the “Yashil makon” nationwide project, our university’s dedicated team and enthusiastic youth planted various fruit tree saplings on a 23-hectare plot of land belonging to the university’s scientific-experimental farm. You can watch the process in the attached video.

A good deed is never lost

Under the leadership of the Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs of Tashkent State Agrarian University, D. Mamadiyarov, our dedicated team and volunteer youth, within the framework of the nationwide project “Yashil makon,” planted 100 walnut saplings, 2000 apple saplings, and a number of other fruit tree saplings on 23 hectares of the university’s research and experimental farm. Additionally, dried branches of the trees were pruned, and the trunks of the saplings and trees were whitewashed to protect against insects.

“Birdhouse” Project Implemented at Tashkent State Agrarian University

At Tashkent State Agrarian University, the “Birdhouse” project was implemented as part of the practical-exhibition seminar on the implementation of the “Green Space” national project and environmental protection. This initiative was launched to protect nature, maintain ecological balance, and increase bird populations in green areas.
As part of the project, special birdhouses were installed on trees throughout the university campus. This effort aims to improve the living conditions of birds, create a favorable ecological environment for them, and support biodiversity.
The event was attended by seminar participants, university leadership, professors, students, and industry specialists. They emphasized that this project not only helps preserve bird populations but also serves as a natural method of controlling agricultural pests.
The “Birdhouse” project not only enhances the ecological environment within the university but also helps improve students’ and young specialists’ environmental awareness, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature.

Planting of Spruce Trees as Part of the Practical-Exhibition Seminar on Implementing the “Green Space” Nationwide Initiative in Agriculture and Environmental Protection

A practical-exhibition seminar on ensuring environmental sustainability in agriculture, effectively implementing the “Green Space” nationwide initiative, and protecting the environment was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University. This event was organized in connection with the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy.”
During the seminar, a tree-planting event was organized within the framework of the “Green Space” nationwide initiative to improve environmental sustainability and enhance green areas. Spruce saplings were planted on the university campus as part of efforts to expand green spaces, improve air quality, and create a sustainable ecosystem.
The tree-planting ceremony saw active participation from seminar attendees, university leadership, professors, students, and industry specialists.

Extensive work is being carried out at TSAU within the framework of the  “Yashil makon” nationwide project

At Tashkent State Agrarian University, tree planting and environmental improvement activities are actively continuing within the framework of the “Yashil makon” nationwide project.
As part of this project, various fruit and ornamental trees have been planted on the university campus, and green areas have been expanded. Students and professors are actively participating in community clean-up efforts, demonstrating their love for nature in practice. Additionally, environmental awareness events are being held, and efforts are being made to promote environmental conservation.
Furthermore, the TSAU team is actively preparing for the Navruz nationwide holiday. In honor of this most beautiful and festive spring holiday, cleaning and beautification work is being carried out on the university grounds.
The TSAU team is working diligently to celebrate Navruz in a worthy manner and to show care for Mother Nature through the “Yashil makon” project.
