A masterclass on the topic “The Application of the Uzbek Language in the Field, Current Teaching Challenges, and Prospects” was organized at Tashkent State Agrarian University by the Head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature, Professor S.Sh. Xalmirzayeva, with the participation of the department’s faculty members and students of Group 25-M of the Faculty of Forestry and Landscape Design, specializing in the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants. During the session, modern pedagogical technologies such as “Charxpalak,” “Muammo,” the “BBB” table, and “Zinama-zina” methods were effectively employed. The introductory part of the lesson provided information on the similarities and differences between the concepts of “term” and “designation.” Additionally, the formation of economic terms was explained with examples, showing how, throughout different historical periods, the number and quality of field-specific terms developed in accordance with societal progress. Examples of morphological, syntactic, and semantic types of Uzbek language terms were also presented.
Moreover, detailed explanations were given on the formation of compound terms consisting of two, three, or four components. The masterclass was conducted at a high scientific and methodological level.
