At the educational and experimental farm of Tashkent State Agrarian University, extensive research is being conducted on a variety of fruits, vegetables, and crops. In particular, the university team has been continuously engaged in exploring the prospects of cultivating new types and varieties of grain crops in our country. During the latest research phase, experiments were carried out on three types of grain crops: wheat, rye, and triticale. The main objectives were to study methods of cultivating wheat as a second crop after beans, the effect of late nitrogen fertilization on rye, and the impact of foliar feeding norms on the growth, development, and yield of triticale. It can be confidently stated that the research was successfully completed. One of the most remarkable traditions of our university team is celebrating every successful research outcome with a festive gathering. Staying true to this tradition, a scientific-practical field seminar titled “Grain Festival” was organized under the leadership of our rector, Narzullo Oblomuradov. The event began with a demonstration of harvesting using modern agricultural machinery. This was followed by a festive meal. The most notable aspect was that all the food products — including flatbread and samosas — were made from wheat, rye, and triticale grown in the experimental farm itself. Representatives of international partner organizations who observed the event praised the unity of the university team and recognized the outcomes of the scientific research and reforms being carried out at the educational and experimental farm. Indeed, just a few years ago, the research conducted at the experimental farm was known only to the researchers themselves. Today, the atmosphere has completely changed: every scientist, professor, and researcher is eager to achieve positive results and share them not only with colleagues, but also with fellow citizens and international experts. Recognizing and encouraging such achievements is essential, as recognition motivates individuals to strive even harder. Today, those who made significant contributions were honored by the university leadership.

Another crucial aspect is that, based on the research findings, recommendations will be provided to farmers, allowing for high yields even on small plots of land. This, in turn, will enhance the export potential of the products, fully meet the domestic demand for grain crops, and contribute to ensuring the stability of our country’s economy.
