Within the framework of the TCP/RER/3904 project aimed at transforming agro-food systems in Europe and Central Asia, Tashkent State Agrarian University hosted a meeting with international experts from the Environmental Social Research Group (ESSRG) - Mr. Balint Balaj and Ms. Carmen Zett. During this meeting, a productive meeting was held with the university leadership. Important issues related to the development of agro-food infrastructure in cities were discussed. These include production and processing systems, product storage and logistics capabilities, trade markets and public catering networks, educational and research areas in the field.
During the meeting, the prospects for new projects in bilateral cooperation in connection with the 95th anniversary of the TSAU and the 80th anniversary of the UN FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) were also discussed.
