On the initiative of the professors of the Department of “Uzbek Language and Literature” – Head of the Department, Professor Sayyora Kholmirzayeva, and lecturer Yusuf Boboyev – a literary discussion was organized with the participation of students of group 25-71,specialization of in “Technology of cultivation and processing of medicinal plants,” dedicated to the 118th anniversary of the People’s Writer of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Qahhor.
During the meeting, S. Kholmirzayeva spoke about the writer’s life and creative works, his short stories, novels, and dramatic plays, and also introduced Kibriyo Qahhorova’s book “A Quarter of a Century Together.” Yu. Boboyev discussed the creation process and artistic aspects of such famous works as “Pomegranate,” “The Thief,” and “Tales from the Past.” The event left a deep spiritual impression on the students.
