He graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan in 1991. He is a mathematician by profession, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor. He is married and has two children.
During his career, he served in responsible positions in the higher education system.
He has been actively participating in the process of reforms in New Uzbekistan, including the implementation of tasks related to the training of qualified personnel for the labor market using modern pedagogical technologies in the higher education system, mathematical modeling in the digitalization of the economy and the importance of the foundations of probability theory in increasing the economic efficiency of production in the agricultural sector.
Kudrat Shermetovich Ruzmetov worked as a senior teacher and associate professor at Tashkent State Law Institute from 1999 to 2004.
From 2004 to 2021, he worked as an associate professor at Tashkent State Agrarian University, from 2021 to 2023, he was the head of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies at Tashkent State Agrarian University, and from 2023 to 2025, he was the dean of the Faculty of Agrologistics and business.
According to the relevant order of the rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, K.Sh. Ruzmetov has been appointed to the position of Dean of the Faculty of Agroeconomics, logistics and services from June 2025.
