As part of the 95th anniversary celebrations of Tashkent State Agrarian University, an international scientific and practical conference was held on the topic:“Sustainable Development of Agriculture and Ensuring Food Security under Global Climate Change Conditions.”The conference featured discussions in five thematic sections covering various scientific directions.

Section 1 — “Sustainable Development of Agricultural Systems under Global Climate Change Conditions.” This section focused on the impact of climate change on the sustainability of the agricultural sector and adaptation strategies. Speakers included R. J. Qarshiyev, Deputy Minister of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Prof. Xinyu Xian from Guangdong Ocean University; Prof. Tunahan Erdem from Çukurova University; and several rectors from higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan. Discussions centered on ways to enhance environmental efficiency in agriculture. Section 2 — “Sustainable Forestry: Harmony between Nature and Development.” This session addressed issues related to forest management, the expansion of green zones, and ensuring ecological stability.
Speakers included A. Kh. Khamzayev, Head of the Ecological Party faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis; Prof. Soner Kazaz from Ankara University; Prof. Bolot Akimovich Karimov from Osh State University, as well as several leading scientists from partner institutions. Section 3 — “The Role of Science and Innovation in Ensuring Food Security.” Participants presented research findings aimed at improving food production efficiency.
Nurbek Yuldoshev, Director of the Tashkent Regional Branch of Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, delivered a presentation on the development of local antihelminthic drugs for combating helminthic diseases in livestock. Section 4 — “Innovative Agrotechnologies, Plant Protection, and Combating Soil Degradation.” This section featured presentations by Prof. L. Gafurova (National University of Uzbekistan) and A. Sagitov (Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan), who shared their scientific findings and innovative approaches. Section 5 — “Sustainable Development of Agricultural Systems under Global Climate Change Conditions.” Professors from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan participated in discussions on the impact of climate change on agricultural resilience, adaptation strategies, and ways to enhance environmental performance.

Throughout the conference, participants exchanged scientific ideas, shared practical experiences, and proposed innovative solutions.
At the conclusion, they emphasized the importance of strengthening international cooperation to mitigate the effects of global climate change, promote sustainable agricultural development, and ensure food security.
