Organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the “Beekeepers of Uzbekistan” Association, the sixth “Honey Festival” – a national beekeeping and food products international exhibition-fair – is being held from December 2 to 11 in the “Anhor Lakomativ” park in Tashkent. Tashkent State Agrarian University is showcasing a variety of honey samples, as well as tools and equipment used in beekeeping. In addition, students and faculty members of the Zoo Engineering (Beekeeping) program are also actively participating.
Within the framework of the international exhibition, prominent guests are attending, including representatives from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), as well as from Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Turkey. More than 400 beekeeping product manufacturers from all regions of Uzbekistan and nearly 1,500 experienced specialists, including scientists from research institutes, are also participating in the exhibition.
