At the initiative of the Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Production and Viticulture and the Department of Fruit Growing and Viticulture, a practical master class was organized for students of the “Fruit Growing and Viticulture” program. The event was attended by the dean of the faculty S. Khasanov, head of the department I. Namozov, associate professors Kh. Adilov, M. Fakhrutdinov, D. Janakova, senior lecturers Sh. Valiyeva and A. Qarshiyev, as well as assistants D. Nurmukhamedova, A. Khomidjonov and O. Kakhkhorova.
The master class was dedicated to the topic “Biological characteristics of pomegranate and cultivation technology” for 4th-year students of group 22-50 within the subject “Subtropical Plants.” During the session, students received detailed information about the biological and beneficial properties of pomegranate, seedling cultivation technology, promising varieties, and maintenance methods.
At the end of the class, a Q&A session was held, during which students received answers to their questions and gained new, useful knowledge.
