The event was opened by the Rector of the University, N. Oblomuradov, who emphasized in his speech that today’s students should serve the Motherland through knowledge, books, and the pen, and in the future make a worthy contribution to the country’s development as competent leaders and devoted professionals. He also sincerely congratulated all participants on the occasion. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, S. Boboyev, also addressed the audience, noting that this date is a symbol of courage, dedication, and patriotism. Within the framework of the event, participants of the international Afghan War who are currently working at Tashkent State Agrarian University were solemnly recognized and duly honored. Among those awarded were Associate Professor I. Isroilov, electrician T. Urazbayev, automated telephone station engineer Sh. Shoumarov, Associate Professor X. Nuraliev, Dean of the Faculty of Agrologistics and Business Q. Ruzmetov, security guard X. Muldabayev, and Chief Legal Counsel K. Jo‘rayev.
During the event, the University’s Women’s Affairs Department presented poetic congratulatory performances. This was followed by a festive concert program performed by the “Bo‘ston” Song and Dance Ensemble. At the conclusion of the event, smiles were seen on everyone’s faces, and feelings of joy and pride filled their hearts. The celebration truly felt like a real holiday — marked by a high-spirited atmosphere, sincere camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.
