A Seminar on Dairy Product Safety Successfully Held at the Initiative of TSAU

Within the framework of reforms in the food safety system of Uzbekistan, an educational seminar dedicated to the dairy industry was successfully organized at the initiative of Tashkent State Agrarian University with the participation of partner organizations.
The seminar was conducted based on the Codex Alimentarius Commission’s “Code of Practice – General Principles of Food Hygiene” (2022). The event included extensive discussions on GHP and GMP hygiene principles, critical control points in the pasteurization process, and issues related to preventing the risk of Listeria monocytogenes (ZERO Listeria) As part of the seminar, participants paid a practical visit to a dairy production enterprise, where they had the opportunity to reinforce the acquired knowledge in real production conditions. The event was actively attended by representatives of dairy production enterprises, inspectors of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, industry experts, as well as faculty members and students of TSAU.

At the end of the seminar, certificates of participation were awarded to all participants who fully attended all training sessions.
