On March 23–24, the “Italy – Central Asia (C5) + Azerbaijan” Business Forum held in Tashkent served as an important platform for strengthening international cooperation in the agricultural sector. This prestigious event brought together 80 companies from Italy, more than 100 from Uzbekistan, and over 50 agribusiness representatives from other countries in the region. Within the framework of the forum, special sessions were organized not only on business but also on science, research, and education. Key topics included the introduction of innovations in agriculture, academic mobility, digital monitoring based on satellite data, and the transfer of modern knowledge. Tashkent State Agrarian University actively participated in the forum and signed cooperation agreements with prestigious institutions such as the University of Pisa (Italy), the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), and the Research Centre (CREA).
These agreements предусматривают launching exchange programs for students and faculty, implementing joint research projects, and introducing advanced agricultural technologies into practice.
This cooperation will play a significant role in strengthening the integration of science and production, enhancing human capital, and actively involving young specialists in agricultural transformation processes.
