At the Tashkent State Agrarian University, activities within the framework of the "Yashil Makon" (Green Space) nationwide project, aimed at environmental protection, landscaping, and ensuring ecological stability, are continuing at a new stage. Specifically, a mass tree-planting campaign was organized on the grounds of the newly constructed modern student dormitory to expand green areas.
The university leadership, faculty members, students, and community activists participated equally in this noble initiative, planting Crimean Pine (Pinus nigra) saplings, which are well-suited to the local climate. During the event, special attention was paid not only to planting but also to the subsequent care and survival of the trees. To this end, modern irrigation systems and watering networks were fully installed in the area to ensure regular and efficient irrigation of the newly planted saplings.
This green zone around the new dormitory will serve as a space for students to spend their leisure time meaningfully, relax in the fresh air, and further enhance the beauty of the university’s landscape.
