Within the framework of the “New Agronomist” system introduced by the Tashkent State Agrarian University, theoretical knowledge is being reinforced directly in field conditions through practical application. The university’s working group and students visited “Implementation of Innovations and Technologies” LLC and the “Khiloliddin” farming enterprise in Yukorichirchik district of Tashkent region, where they studied modern cotton planting methods.
In particular, the students directly participated in the planting process using the “Shinjon” method — a double-row planting system based on a 76×10 scheme, carried out with seeders that sow under plastic film. This technology helps retain soil moisture, maintain stable temperature, and reduce weed growth, thereby creating a foundation for high yields. The process is fully integrated with a drip irrigation system, enabling efficient use of resources.
During the visit, the university’s scientists and specialists provided members of the farming enterprises with scientific and practical recommendations on proper crop care and the effective organization of agrotechnical practices.
