On the occasion of the International Day of Land and within the framework of the 65th anniversary of the State Scientific Design Institute “O‘zdavyerloyiha,” a prestigious international scientific and practical conference on the topic “The Role of Information Systems in Sustainable Land Resource Management in Agriculture” was held in the capital. At this conference, Professor D.A. Qodirova of the Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science at Tashkent State Agrarian University was awarded a letter of appreciation by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan for her many years of effective scientific and pedagogical activity and her significant contribution to the development of the field.
During the conference, experts and scientists particularly emphasized that preserving land resources, combating degradation, and expanding fertile land areas are among the most important priority directions of the state agrarian policy today.
