An international youth festival under the slogan “Beautiful Homeland” was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University

At Tashkent State Agrarian University, the III International Agro-Fine Arts Festival under the slogan “Beautiful Homeland,” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held from April 27 to May 7, 2026. The festival was organized within the framework of the “5 Important Initiatives” put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at widely involving young people in culture, art, and sports, as well as strengthening the harmony between the agricultural sector and fine arts. The international festival was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Ipoteka Bank. Professional artists and talented students from various regions of Uzbekistan, as well as from foreign countries including the Russian Federation, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, and Tajikistan, took part in the festival and presented their creative works. The festival, curated by Ashurmat Mamasaliyev, started in Tashkent and continued in the Jizzakh, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions. Today, the award ceremony of the festival was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University. The event was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture Mizrob Bo‘ronov, First Deputy Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Minhojiddin Mirzo, FAO Representative in Uzbekistan Sherzod Umarov, as well as students and members of the public.
Opening the event, Rector of the university, Professor Narzullo Oblomuradov, emphasized that the international festival embodied not only the creative works of local students, but also those of foreign participants, and highlighted the unique beauty of the homeland, reforms in the agricultural sector, and their results through fine arts.
At the end of the event, active participants and organizers were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts. A cultural and educational program prepared by the “Bo‘ston” song and dance ensemble was also presented as part of the event.
