Scientists from the Faculty of Forestry and Landscape Design of Tashkent State Agrarian University are contributing their professional expertise to the landscaping works being carried out in Yakkasaray district.
Recently, the Mayor of Yakkasaray district, Nilufar Allabergenova, visited Shota Rustaveli Street to review the activities being implemented within the framework of the “Green Space” project. During the visit, discussions were held with our university’s scientists on the systematic organization of street landscape design, proper plant selection, and planting technologies.
Based on the recommendations of our university specialists, a total of 1,206 ornamental seedlings suitable for the area’s climate conditions and aesthetic appearance were selected, including:
Brozenia (300 seedlings) and Brozenia Shtanik (6 seedlings);
Rosemary (200 seedlings);
Licoris Zavika (300 seedlings);
Berekenet (Multi Flowers, Gazo, Bravo – total of 300 seedlings);
Barberry (100 seedlings).
By applying the scientific potential of Tashkent State Agrarian University in practice, the university will continue cooperation aimed at transforming every street of our beloved city into a model and “green” area.
