A scientific and practical seminar entitled “A Step Towards a Healthy Life with Vegetables” was held at the Educational and Research Experimental Farm of Tashkent State Agrarian University. The event was organized within the framework of implementing the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-135 dated April 11, 2026, and as part of ongoing efforts to develop the vegetable production sector.
The seminar brought together university professors and instructors, students, members of the “Seven” committee of the Oybek Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly, community activists, and representatives of the general public.
During the event, presentations and practical recommendations were delivered on modern agrotechnologies for vegetable cultivation. In particular, participants were introduced to advanced practices in:
cabbage cultivation technologies;
modern methods of garlic production;
potato cultivation technologies;
cultivation and management of various leafy lettuce varieties.
The seminar participants also received detailed information on increasing crop yields, producing high-quality vegetable products, and the important role of vegetable farming in promoting public health.
