Palace of culture

The Palace of Culture serves to meaningfully organize the free time of students of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, expand their spiritual, educational, aesthetic and moral outlook, educate them in the spirit of respect for national and universal values, and develop their creative potential.
The Palace of Culture was established in accordance with the order of the Rector of the University No. 1-9-6/60 dated April 3, 2025, and is a structural unit of the University.
The palace of culture is located on the 2nd floor of the University’s main building. The palace has a modern material and technical base, the main hall consists of 18 rows and 455 seats. The hall is also equipped with a modern LED screen, a professional audio system, sound amplification devices and the necessary technical means for organizing events at a high level.
The Palace of Culture hosts spiritual and educational events, festive and solemn ceremonies, concerts, creative meetings, conferences, forums, exhibitions, performances, screenings of feature films, and other cultural and educational events.

Main purpose

The main goal of the Palace of Culture is to raise the spiritual and cultural level of students and young people, develop their creative abilities, meaningfully organize their free time, and create a healthy spiritual and educational environment at the university.

Main functions

The main tasks of the Palace of Culture are:
• To increase the interest of students and young people in national and world culture, art and spiritual heritage;
• Educating young people in the spirit of respect for the Motherland, the people, and national values;
• Developing students’ abilities in art, music, theater, literature, dance, and other creative fields;
• Implementation of various creative projects and events within the framework of the “Five Important Initiatives”;
• Meaningful organization of students’ free time and their wide involvement in cultural and educational events;
• Identifying, supporting, and helping talented and gifted young people realize their creative potential;
• Organizing conferences, forums, conventions, and other events in collaboration with university faculties, departments, and other structural units;
• Creating a healthy spiritual environment at the university, increasing the aesthetic taste, cultural level, and creative activity of students and young people;
• Supporting the creative initiatives of students and young people and ensuring their active participation in cultural events;
• Implementation of projects aimed at developing the spiritual, educational and cultural life of the university.

Areas of activity

Various events aimed at developing the creative and cultural abilities of students and young people are organized within the framework of the Palace of Culture activities.
In particular, concert programs, creative meetings, theatrical performances, exhibitions, competitions, festivals, spiritual and educational events, film screenings, conferences, forums, seminars and other cultural events are held.
Systematic work is also carried out to identify talented young people, support their creative activities, and actively involve them in the university’s cultural life.
The Palace of Culture is an important venue that serves to develop the spiritual, educational, and cultural life of the university, unleash the creative potential of students and young people, meaningfully organize their free time, and educate a harmonious generation.
