Department of international relations

The Department of International Relations of the Tashkent State Agrarian University serves to coordinate the university’s international activities, develop global academic and scientific cooperation, and strengthen the position of TSAU in the international educational and scientific space.
The Department develops long-term and mutually beneficial relations with leading higher education institutions, research centers, international organizations, and other partner institutions around the world. International cooperation covers priority areas such as education, science, innovation, academic mobility, joint educational programs, advanced training, and the implementation of international projects.
Today, Tashkent State Agrarian University has established cooperation with more than 150 foreign universities and organizations from various countries of the world.

Main goal

The main objective of the department is to consistently develop the international integration of the University, apply advanced foreign experience and knowledge to educational and research processes, expand international opportunities for students and professors, and promote Tdau as a reliable international partner in the field of Agrarian Education, Science and innovation.

Priority areas of activity

The Department operates in the following main areas:
• Establishing and developing cooperation with leading foreign universities, scientific centers and international organizations;
• Preparation, coordination and monitoring of the implementation of memorandums, agreements and contracts on international cooperation;
• Expansion of the participation of students, master’s students, doctoral students and professors in academic mobility programs;
• Attracting foreign professors, scientists and industry experts to the educational and scientific activities of the university;
• Expanding the university’s participation in international grants, research and institutional development projects;
• Developing joint and double-degree educational programs in collaboration with foreign partners;
• Organizing international conferences, seminars, forums, summer schools, trainings and other academic events;
• Supporting the professional development and internships of professors, teachers and staff at foreign universities and research centers;
• Coordination of visits of foreign delegations to the university and foreign visits of TDAU delegations;
• Implementation of initiatives aimed at expanding the university’s international reputation and participation in global academic networks.

Geography of international cooperation

TDAU’s geography of international cooperation covers Asia, Europe, America and other regions. The university has been developing cooperation with higher education and research institutions in the people’s Republic of China, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Lithuania, Poland, Georgia, Belarus, Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, USA and other countries.
The cooperation includes student and faculty exchange, joint scientific research, educational programs, scientific publications, short-term training courses, summer schools, internships, and international projects.

Academic mobility

The department pays special attention to expanding opportunities for international academic mobility for students, undergraduates, doctoral students, and faculty.
Based on agreements and international programs concluded with foreign partner universities, representatives of TDAU have the opportunity to study abroad, conduct scientific research, and participate in internship and advanced training programs. At the same time, foreign students, professors and researchers are involved in educational and scientific activities at TDAU.

International projects and programs

The university is actively involved in international and regional programs, grants and scientific and technical projects. Through such initiatives, it is envisaged to transfer modern knowledge and technologies, increase scientific potential, develop research infrastructure and develop innovative solutions to global problems in the agrarian sector.
Priority areas include food security, climate change, efficient use of water resources, smart agriculture, digital and green technologies, sustainable agriculture, plant and animal genetic resources, and modernization of agricultural education.

Tashkent State Agrarian University is open to new international initiatives and mutually beneficial cooperation proposals.
