Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Ministry of Agriculture of Afghanistan held a meeting in the format of a videoconference at the level of deputy ministers. The management of the Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) also took part in the negotiations. The meeting focused on developing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, higher education, and science, exchanging experience, and expanding academic ties. In particular, TSAU put forward proposals to assist in training agricultural specialists for Afghan youth, introducing special educational programs, and organizing training courses. The parties also considered organizing training sessions for local specialists and upgrading the qualifications of teaching staff.
