Tashkent State Agrarian University leadership held a meeting with a vice-rector from the University of Missouri (USA)

Today, under the leadership of the administration of Tashkent State Agrarian University, a meeting was held with Professor Mary Stegmaier, Deputy Vice Provost for International Programs and Director of the International Center at the University of Missouri (USA). During the meeting, Professor Stegmaier provided information about the activities of the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs, which operates within the structure of the University of Missouri. During the discussion, the parties talked about developing cooperation in the field of agriculture, expanding research activities, and launching academic exchange programs between faculty members and students. In particular, they discussed opportunities to organize four-month short-term study programs for students, as well as participation of professors in professional development programs lasting from six to twenty-four months. Special attention was given to cooperation within the framework of the LEAD Program for 2026–2027, which aims to develop leadership skills among students, expand international experience exchange, and strengthen academic collaboration.

The University of Missouri is one of the top 500 prestigious universities in the world, located in Columbia, USA. Joint initiatives with this university open new opportunities for students and faculty members, promote the exchange of advanced experience, and contribute to improving the quality of education. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed mutual interest in further expanding and strengthening cooperation and agreed to develop a specific action plan within the framework of the LEAD Program.
