95th Anniversary Celebrations of Tashkent State Agrarian University: Harmony of Traditions, Renewal, and Achievements

Tashkent State Agrarian University welcomed its historic 95th anniversary with high spirit and a series of meaningful events. The celebration program began with the spiritual-educational event “Meeting of Three Generations.” In his opening speech, the Rector highlighted the university’s historical path, its current achievements, and the modern opportunities created for students, expressing heartfelt wishes to honorary alumni and students. The event was attended by prominent alumni such as Hero of Uzbekistan A. Eshmatov, Deputy Director of the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture O. Amanov, Head of Parkent Plants LLC Sh. Abrorov, and Head of “Navbahor” neighborhood of Syrdarya region J. Rahmonov. They shared valuable life lessons with the younger generation and put forward the initiative “One student – one seedling, one book.” The next part of the celebration was dedicated to the Republican startup competition “AgroTech–2025,” where young innovators presented their projects. Rector N. Oblomuradov emphasized the importance of encouraging the scientific potential of youth and implementing their innovative ideas into practice. The series of events continued with the festival “Magical Charm of Khan Atlas.” Female students showcased outfits made from traditional atlas and adras fabrics, while national traditions were reflected through performances such as “Bride’s Greeting,” “Lullaby,” and “Lazgi.” Active participation came from Chairwoman of the Women in Agriculture Association of Uzbekistan A. Akhmedjanova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Agrarian, Water Management and Ecology S. Abdikarimova, and female scientists of the university. Outstanding participants received letters of appreciation and commemorative 95th anniversary badges. On the same day, the awarding ceremony of the international wrestling tournament “TSAU Cup” was held at the university sports arena in a festive atmosphere. Rector Narzullo Oblomuradov congratulated the athletes, expressing gratitude for their dedication, confidence in victory, and contribution to honoring the country’s name.

Students from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, along with athletes from nine higher education institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture, participated in the competition. Kim Eoor Jong from the Republic of Korea served as Chairman of the jury, giving the tournament an international spirit. Participation of World Champion Abdulla Tangriyev and other international masters of sports further enhanced the prestige of the event. The “TSAU Cup” became a symbol of friendship, physical excellence, and belief in victory not only for the athletes, but for all participants. The event contributed to promoting wrestling on an international level, encouraging a healthy lifestyle among youth, and strengthening national pride. The celebration concluded with performances by the “Bo‘ston” vocal and dance ensemble, creating unforgettable moments for students and guests.
