A significant agreement aimed at taking the integration of science and production to a new level was signed at Tashkent State Agrarian University. This cooperation between the university and the Russian-Uzbek joint venture “SCHELKOVO AGROHIM–UZBEKISTAN” is intended to ensure the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PQ–135 dated April 11, 2026.
Within the framework of the “Career Day” event and this agreement, a dual education system will be introduced for more than 70 students studying in the “Plant Protection and Quarantine” program. This system provides students with the opportunity to:
Strengthen theoretical knowledge directly in production processes;
Develop skills in working with modern innovative technologies;
Gain guaranteed employment at the joint venture after graduation.
The meeting was attended by the company’s Commercial Director I.G. Kalinina and TDAU Rector Narzullo Oblomuradov. Experts provided students with detailed information on the mechanisms of action of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and defoliants used in crop protection, as well as innovative preparations developed for cotton, grain crops, and fruit orchards.

This cooperation will not only expand the university’s practical training base but also serve as an important foundation for preparing highly qualified specialists capable of applying modern chemical plant protection technologies in the agriculture of our country.
