A delegation from the Northwest A&F University of the People’s Republic of China visited Tashkent State Agrarian University. The delegation included Zhao Xin, Director of the Institute for Science and Technology Development; Wang Junhua, Deputy Director of the Future Agriculture Institute; Zou Yufeng, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department; and other representatives.
The guests were welcomed by Abduaziz Abduvasikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Transformation, and Strategic Development of the university. The meeting focused on discussing the practical outcomes of joint educational programs launched in 2024, further development of these programs, and advancing bilateral scientific cooperation to a new level.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on expanding joint educational programs, strengthening research collaboration, establishing a China–Central Asia Joint Laboratory, introducing water-saving technologies, and broadening funding and grant opportunities for joint research projects. The delegation also closely familiarized itself with the university’s scientific potential and existing laboratory infrastructure.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to further intensify cooperation and expand joint projects.
