At Tashkent State Agrarian University, a strategic cooperation meeting took place with representatives of the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA). The meeting was attended by the Rector of the university, Narzullo Oblomuradov, the Director General of ICBA, Tarifa Alzaabi, and the Head of the organization’s Regional Office for Central Asia and the Caucasus, Bokhir Alikhanov. During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. The sides thoroughly discussed establishing scientific cooperation, implementing joint research projects aimed at efficient crop production under climate change conditions, obtaining high-quality yields, as well as organizing training and experience exchange programs for specialists. In addition, the parties agreed to closely cooperate in the production of high-quality food products and their packaging in accordance with modern standards.
Furthermore, the initiative to establish a Central Asian Soil Museum at Tashkent State Agrarian University was also considered. It was noted that this project would play an important role in studying soil resources in the region, preserving them, and promoting awareness among the wider public.
