The initiative to declare Thursday of every week as "Youth Day," proposed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with the youth, is being practically implemented at the Tashkent State Agrarian University. Specifically, a roundtable discussion dedicated to the development of foreign language skills was organized today under the leadership of the University Rector, N. Oblomuradov, within the framework of "Youth Day." During the open dialogue, the Rector emphasized the issues of improving the quality of foreign language education and strengthening the proficiency levels of students and faculty based on international assessment systems such as CEFR and IELTS. The meeting featured various opinions and suggestions on critical issues, including the application of modern methods in language teaching, effective preparation of students for international certificates, and further increasing youth interest in language learning. The initiatives put forward by the students were particularly noteworthy. For instance, the Rector supported the proposals to organize student-led training courses and to open at least one language learning group in each faculty. Additionally, students proposed the organization of separate training courses for Russian, Turkish, and German languages, and these initiatives were positively received.

At the conclusion of the dialogue, it was determined that the submitted proposals would be systematically studied, and appropriate measures would be developed for their practical implementation. Indeed, supporting youth initiatives and realizing their professional potential are key factors in determining the future development of the agricultural sector.
