Today, a meeting was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) with representatives of leading higher education institutions of China. At the beginning of the event, the guests were presented with samples of creative works by the university’s talented students. The artworks showcased at the “Art Gallery” exhibition left a strong impression on the guests, who highly praised the creativity and talent of the young artists. Leaders of China’s leading universities — Wu De, Rector of Sichuan Agricultural University, Zhang Huachun, Rector of Chengdu University of International Studies, and Zhao Guohua, Rector of Sichuan Normal University, together with the members of their delegation, discussed important issues such as expanding cooperation in education and science, implementing joint projects, and launching academic exchange programs for professors, teachers, and students. The most significant news is that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tashkent State Agrarian University and Sichuan Agricultural University. This document is aimed at strengthening ties between the two institutions, creating opportunities for students to study the Chinese language more deeply, apply it in practice, and actively participate in international cooperation projects.
Within the framework of this memorandum, the Parties envisage academic exchange of students, faculty, and researchers, the development and implementation of joint educational and research programs, the establishment of joint laboratories and research centers, as well as the strengthening of institutional cooperation in agriculture, biotechnology, and other related sciences.
