The name of Zuyev Vladimir Ilich is well known to anyone connected with the field of agriculture. That’s because this remarkable individual has dedicated more than 70 years of his life to the agricultural sector. Vladimir Ilich began his career as an agronomist at the Tashkent State Fruit Nursery Enterprise. Through years of hard work and continuous research, he earned prestigious titles such as Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Academician of the International Academy of Agrarian Education, and Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan. His contribution to the agrarian field is invaluable. Notably, he is one of the primary authors of 14 regionally adapted crop varieties: 2 watermelon, 1 melon, 3 greenhouse cucumber, 6 open-field cucumber, 1 daikon, and 1 shade-tolerant vegetable variety. He is also a co-author of one invention copyright certificate and one patent. In addition, V.I. Zuyev is the author of more than 438 educational, methodological, and scientific publications, over 39 textbooks and study guides, 26 instructional materials, and more than 29 monographs and booklets.

The esteemed mentor celebrated his 95th anniversary in the company of his students and members of the wider community. At Tashkent State Agrarian University, his colleagues, students, and friends gathered to honor him. Each participant of the gathering recalled memories associated with Vladimir Ilich Zuyev, shared kind words about his character, and presented him with tokens of appreciation. The celebration concluded with a festive table and engaging conversations over a cup of tea.
