In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-135 dated April 11, 2026, and to improve the quality of higher education, international cooperation events continue at our university. In this regard, Professor Soner Kazaz from the prestigious Ankara University of Turkey visited our university. The experienced specialist is conducting engaging lectures and masterclasses for students and industry professionals on the topic "Technologies for the Propagation of Ornamental Trees and Flowers." The most crucial part of the lessons took place at our university's experimental farm. During the practical sessions, Professor Soner Kazaz shared his expertise on modern propagation methods, Turkish and international experience in ornamental plant care, the application of resource-saving and efficient innovative technologies in floriculture, and the secrets of selection, choosing, and nourishing ornamental tree species suitable for our region's climate. "Knowledge only yields real results when reinforced by practice. Uzbekistan's climatic conditions are very favorable for taking ornamental gardening to a new level," said Professor Soner Kazaz.
This international cooperation not only expands our students' horizons but also contributes to the development of landscaping and landscape design in our country.
