Within the framework of the “Pink October” campaign and the national program “Early Detection – Save Life,” the university organized a practical session dedicated to women’s health. The event was opened by the Head of the Department for Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the university, S. Isroilov, who in his speech emphasized the importance of ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at protecting women’s health, increasing their social activity, and supporting their scientific potential. The session was conducted by the Chairperson of the University’s Women’s Affairs Council, G. Shodmonova. Advisors to deans on women’s issues and female students from various faculties took an active part in the event. The session also featured participation from representatives and experts of the UNFPA in Uzbekistan, including: Nadira Miranvarovna Inoyatova, Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Specialist at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Maternal and Child Health, UNFPA Expert; Shakhzadakhon Khodjayeva, Coordinator of the UNFPA Youth Network; and volunteers of the UNFPA Youth Network.
The session was held under the motto “Healthy Generation – Healthy Future” and served to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise medical awareness among female students.
