The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was opened by S. Isroilov, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, who emphasized that in today’s digital age it is especially important to increase young people’s information security awareness and legal literacy. A special guest of the meeting, D. Ikhvoldinov, a master’s degree student at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and a lieutenant colonel, delivered a detailed lecture on types of cybercrime, fraud on social networks, their legal consequences, and prevention measures. Through real-life examples and video materials, students were given practical knowledge on how to protect themselves from cyber threats.
Students who participated in the event noted the relevance of the topic and stated that such meetings are important in improving their knowledge of cybersecurity. At the end of the event, students received detailed answers from the specialist to their questions.
