In our country, activities related to the population and agricultural census are being carried out. This process is an important socio-economic event aimed at collecting comprehensive information about citizens living within the territory of the Republic.
A training seminar was organized for the staff of the Tashkent Regional Statistics Department, the Chirchik City Statistics Office, and members of the local “mahalla seven” team. During the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the purpose and practical significance of the census, as well as the measures being implemented to create convenience for the population. Rustam Khabibovich Tursunov, Associate Professor of the “Social and Humanitarian Sciences” Department at Tashkent State Agrarian University, took part in the seminar and discussed the statistical and analytical aspects of the census, as well as modern approaches to data collection and processing.
The seminar participants also received important explanations on key points to consider during the census process, methods to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information, and the importance of obtaining correct data on population size and economic systems.
