In order to ensure the implementation of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-173 dated September 19, 2025, “On the Population and Agricultural Census,” and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 629 dated October 7, 2025, as well as to widely cover the census processes, a working group from the Tashkent Regional Department of Statistics organized a roundtable discussion at Tashkent State Agrarian University. The event was attended by S. Isroilov, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment; U. Sattorov, Head of Department of the Tashkent Regional Department of Statistics; F. Jo‘rayev, Chief Legal Adviser; M. Jabborov, Deputy Head of the Agricultural Department; and A. Jufinisova, representative of the Information Service of the Tashkent Regional Department of Statistics.
During the discussion, the essence and significance of the decree and the resolution, the importance of conducting the population and agricultural census, the main objectives of these processes, and the role of the statistical system in forming a reliable database were explained in detail. At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions, and it was emphasized that they should actively participate in these processes.
