A roundtable discussion was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University within the framework of the “Earthquake Preparedness Week for the Population”

In our country, May 18–22, 2026 has been designated as the “Earthquake Preparedness Week for the Population.” In this regard, a practical roundtable discussion aimed at preventing emergency situations and developing proper response skills during earthquakes was organized at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Civil and Labor Protection Department of the university, I. Baxronov, the Head of the Emergency Situations Department of Qibray district, Tashkent region, M. Yunusov, as well as university staff and students.
Specialists explained vital safety rules and measures to reduce casualties and ensure safety in the event of an earthquake.

In cooperation with the university’s Civil and Labor Protection Department and Emergency Situations Department staff, the readiness of evacuation routes in educational buildings and student dormitories, the availability of primary fire extinguishing equipment, and first-aid kits were once again inspected.
