To ensure the implementation of Resolution No. PP-135 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 11, 2026, a university delegation comprising professors, lecturers, and scientists, led by the Rector of Tashkent State Agricultural University, Professor Narzullo Oblomuradov, visited the Navoiy region.
As part of the visit, a scientific-practical meeting was organized in the Karmana district of Navoiy region, featuring San'atillo Hikmatov, Deputy Hokim of the region for Agriculture and Water Management, sector officials, cluster leaders, representatives of farms, educators from School No. 19 (affiliated with the university), and university scientists. Furthermore, the university working group held an open dialogue with farms, cluster enterprises, and business entities in the Karmana district. They discussed strengthening the integration of science and production in the agricultural sector, establishing project offices, implementing modern agrotechnologies, efficient use of water resources, increasing soil fertility, and developing scientific solutions to production challenges.
At the conclusion of the meeting, memorandums of cooperation were signed between Tashkent State Agricultural University, the Hokimiyat of Karmana District, "Baxt Textile" LLC, "Navbaxor Textile" LLC, and the "BAXROM RIZO", "ISTIQBOL", and "SAFO SEVDI" farms. Within the framework of these memorandums, agreements were reached to establish project offices, develop the dual education system, launch student internships, implement joint research projects, introduce innovative technologies into production, and further expand cooperation in training qualified personnel for the agricultural sector.
