A student of Tashkent State Agrarian University became the winner of the “Green Tech Hackathon” competition and earned an opportunity for an internship in Germany.

Within the framework of InnoWeek, with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the “Green Tech Hackathon” competition was held at the U-Enter Center. The Oxi.ART team, which included Shakhriddin Khojabekov, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Zooinengineering at Tashkent State Agrarian University, achieved outstanding results with their “Digital Forest” project. The participants of the competition were tasked with developing practical solutions to environmental problems. Over three days, 10 teams worked on innovative projects in the field of “green” technologies with the support of local and international mentors. Through the “Digital Forest” project, the Oxi.ART team proposed the idea of digitalizing forest resources and establishing an effective system for ecological monitoring. Moreover, Shakhriddin Khojabekov stood out for his creativity, concrete results, and presentation skills, winning first place and earning the opportunity to undergo training in Germany.
